My husband, son & I fished with Capt. Gary in late June. We have taken my 12 year old fishing before & he just hasn’t enjoyed it. ….until we went with Capt. Gary. He was so patient & kind & encouraging with my son. Watching Capt. Gary interact with my son was amazing. His heart & his passion for kids & fishing was clearly evident that day. He was able to help my son learn to enjoy fishing! We recently went fishing & my son loved it. He fished all day & didn’t want (or need) help. Capt. Gary caught my child’s heart & I am forever thankful!

My husband Jeff has been on the water with Captain Gary many times before. However, today was mine and our girls’ first trip. We LOVED it! Not only did we catch multiple fish, we enjoyed the trip itself. Captain Gary was patient with us and made sure we were having a great time and felt safe and comfortable. This won’t be our last trip! Already looking forward to the next one.

This guy man. Being the nice dude he is, helped a fellow guide out and took us out on his boat. First off. Knowing the weather, he chose the best spots for us when the original guides spots were not good enough. He was not satisfied with just catching croaker!. With his experience, he took us to the next spot. Which is where we caught all out fish! Not all were keepers but the ones we did keep were well worth it! Point is We were catching! This guy was great man! You will not regret booking with him.

We lucked out a met Captain Gary as our captain in an all women’s fishing tournament. Our team was ready to “get to work”. Captain Gary was kind, patient, encouraging and took us right to the fish. He is also a wealth of knowledge—I loved being able to ask him about fish habits and types of fish. Loved Captain Gary!

I meet Capt.Gary at the Houston Fishing Show about 5 years ago. Very nice guy! I got one of his cards and eventually gave him a call to book a guided trip. I went the first time with 1 other guy and we had a great time on the water. The Capt. Operates a nice and clean boat and has great knowledge of Galveston Bays. We caught trout, sheepshead, and drum that day. I ended up booking another trip to take my wife out for the next year. When we went on that trip my wife caught a red within the first 10 minutes of fishing. We caught a few more reds at that spot then it turned off. We left and tried several other spots but nothing. But the Capt. was determine to find where the fish were, and we ended up hitting pay day and caught a full limit of reds for 3 people minus the Capt. It was a great day!!!!!

Captain Gary is a fisherman’s fisherman. I love to fish but I’ve never met anyone who truly loves to fish as much as he does. I’ve fished with him many times over the years and I’m always impressed at his vitality and energy for finding and catching fish. Add to that a great personality (on and off the water), genuine faith and a desire to ensure his customers have a good experience when they’re in his care and you have the makings of an experience that makes you want to come back again and again.

If your looking for just a guided tour or just a fishing trip, this is not the Captain for you! Captain Gary is attentive and very informative to make sure that you not only leave with fish, great stories but you leave with new skills and a new perspective on life. Definitely will be back and bringing the kids, the only Captain I trust!

Capt. Gary is an excellent Guide however he has is amazing skill to make the children on his boat comfortable and secure. Plus the Children all love going fast in Capt. Gary’s Boat, they think it’s AWESOME as my Grandson screams. You’ll not find a better Capt. and Guide to entrust yourself with than with Capt. Gary. Even when the Fish are not biting your experience will be Great. Capt. Gary will make a great time for you and your Family, Friends and Co-Workers. Capt. Gary has incredible knowledge of the Galveston fishery. He put us on fish right away. We will definitely be calling him up next time we are in the Galveston area!
